I help women navigating midlife, skiers reconnecting with confidence, and the ski instructors who support them

I’ve navigated recovery and perimenopause, trained in movement and therapeutic coaching, and skied since childhood.

My work blends lived experience with nervous system literacy - so women can rebuild confidence, skiers can reconnect with the slopes, and instructors can support clients when technique isn't the issue.

Why I Do This Work

There’s a moment when everything you’ve relied on stops working the way it used to.

  • For women, it might be midlife - when your body holds memories and stories that keep you feeling stuck, and the confidence you once had feels like it belongs to someone else.

  • For professionals, it’s when emotions surface mid-session and technique alone won’t carry the client through - you need tools that are scope-safe and practical in the moment.

  • For skiers, it’s standing at the top of a familiar run, knowing you’re physically capable but finding your body won’t co-operate.

I’ve been in all three places.

At 40, back surgery and perimenopause collided, leaving me anxious about moving forward - fearful on slopes I used to love, uncertain in recovery in case injury resurfaced, and questioning how midlife changes would affect my work and confidence.

I had the technique, the experience, the qualifications - but not an understanding of what my nervous system was telling me.

That's why I work with nervous system literacy: the missing piece in women's health and sport-informed coaching.

It's not about fixing you, or chasing the latest wellness trend. It's about understanding what's happening underneath - and giving you tools you can actually use when life, recovery, or performance feels overwhelming.

The Nervous System Literacy Approach

We’re all busy. Work, family, and everyday demands leave little space to notice what our bodies are telling us. Add in the shifts of midlife - illness or injury, menopause, or even new anxiety around things you used to enjoy, like skiing - and those signals can be even harder to catch.

The quieter whispers of fatigue, burnout, or unease get drowned out by the louder shouts of panic and fear.

That’s why I use nervous system literacy in my work: a practical way to listen, respond, and choose - so you can find your way back to what you really want and need.

Whole Body Listening

Tuning into the signals your body gives you in real time, so you can connect to what’s happening underneath - and what you truly need.

Self-Regulation
Simple nervous system resets that stop stress or pressure from taking over, so you keep the freedom to choose your next step.

Emotional Ease
Working with your feelings rather than against them, so you have the choice to do what you want - with more capacity to enjoy it.

My Background

I’ve skied since I was four, worked eight winters in resorts, and lived in Chamonix before qualifying as a BASI Alpine and Adaptive instructor at 38. Most of my ski teaching has been adaptive, kids’ race club, and one-to-one lessons.

Back in the UK, I trained as a Therapeutic Coach and gained movement-based qualifications in Nordic Walking, Pilates, Therapeutic Yoga, and Mindful Movement.

But credentials only tell part of the story.

What matters is that I’ve lived these challenges - the frustration of a body that doesn’t respond the way it used to, the fear of not being good enough, and the confidence gap between knowing what to do and actually being able to do it.

If you’d like to see the full list of my qualifications and training, you can find them [here →].

Who I Work With

  • Women navigating midlife - recovery, menopause, or feeling like life doesn’t fit the way it used to.

  • Ski instructors & coaches - who need practical tools to support clients who are technically capable but  their body is in protection mode.

  • Skiers - who want to reclaim their love of the mountain by finally trusting the body’s signals instead of overriding them.

This work isn’t about quick fixes or motivational pep talks. It’s about practical, nervous system-informed tools you can use immediately.

Because you’re not broken. You’re ready.
